Hand Rubbed Artistic Finishes
Our finishes range from an aged A la Rustica treatment on any of our wood stains to vibrant painted lacquers to aged, antique or gesso’d finishes. All require multiple hand steps using various materials and tools to achieve these master finishes. We make each piece for you as you order it. Your ability to choose your finish, sheen, distress, and texture on each and every piece is in our DNA.
An Array of Species and Treatment Options
Many of the Karges pieces are available in multiple species and with various treatments as options. For instance, our Louis XVI bed is available with a dramatic Crotch Mahogany panel or a caned panel that can be hand painted, or with a smooth or tufted panel. Several of our dining tables are available with either Walnut or Mahogany tops. We know our customers each have unique tastes and design needs. We created these pieces to be transformed into your own functional piece of art for your home.
